The University Orchestra will present a concert on Tuesday, April 29, at Staller Center for the Arts on the Main Stage at 7:30 pm. Conducted by Susan Deaver, the University Orchestra will perform Dukas “La Peri” fanfare for brass, Chadwick’s “Jubilee” from Symphonic Sketches, Lovreglio “Fantasia da Concerto on themes from La Traviata” and Holst’s The Planets featuring movements Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter.
The featured soloist is clarinetist and Long Island native Maximo Flores, winner of the Undergraduate Concerto Competition, soloist in the “Fantasia da Concerto.”
