Town Hall meetings on Diversity Plan scheduled

Two special Town Hall Meetings on the University’s Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Initiative are scheduled for November 30 and December 14, President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., MD has announced.

DiversityAll community members are encouraged to attend to hear an update and discuss progress on implementation of the University’s Diversity Plan.

“I hope you will join me at these discussions and share your views as we work together to make our campus equally welcoming for all,” President Stanley said.

The meetings are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday, November 30 • 1 pm
Charles B. Wang Center

Stony Brook University’s Diversity Plan is intended to build on successes and address opportunities to take the university to the next level in its efforts to enhance student, faculty and staff diversity and to build an inclusive community.
