Get ready to “Sail Through the Sands of Time” as the annual Roth Pond Regatta returns to campus live for the first time since 2019! The Roth Regatta kicks off on Friday, April 29, at 12 pm, with the first race starting at 1 pm.

T-shirts and free refreshments will be provided, as well as chances for attendees to win prizes.

Don’t miss this unique Stony Brook tradition since 1989, as teams representing clubs, organizations and administrative offices race across the 200-yard Roth Pond in makeshift boats constructed only of cardboard, duct tape and paint.

Check out this recap from the School of Communication and Journalism’s and USG’s “Roth Regatta Live! 30th Anniversary” broadcast, which captured every exciting moment!
