Support Stony Brook University Hospital Blood Donor Center

Donate blood 1

Donate blood 1January is National Blood Donor Month, and you can help Stony Brook University Hospital Blood Donor Center reach its goal of 200 donors for the month.

One unit of donated blood can save up to three lives.

This blood drive is only being recognized by the Stony Brook University Hospital Blood Donor Center; therefore, all donations must be made in the Donor Room at the Blood Donor Center, located in the hospital lobby, level 5.

To say thank you (while supplies last):

  • Whole blood donors receive a “Straight from the Heart” sweatshirt
  • Platelet donors receive a computer backpack
