Stronger Together: Meet Your New Colleagues

Shaquille river

Stronger togetherAs more faculty, staff and students come back to school this fall, we’re also excited to welcome and acknowledge new colleagues. In the midst of challenging times and unprecedented circumstances, we’ve held steady to the fact that we are Stronger Together. And we’ve hired new people across the University’s many departments, divisions and units to make us even stronger over the past year-and-a-half.

We now have a new feature on the Stronger Together site, called New Faces. See what some of your new colleagues are up to … what they do, what motivates and excites them, what they can do for you.

Our feature kicks off with Wesam Hassanin, executive assistant to the dean in the School of Nursing, Shaquille River, a career coach at the Career Center, and Chasity Wilson, assistant director of Residential Education for Campus Residences.

If you’d like to suggest yourself, a coworker or employee to be featured on this continuously updated page, please write to us at strongertogether@stonybrook.edu.
