Stony Brook Village Spring Appreciation Day, April 16

Spring Sb VillageWith winter behind us, it’s time to enjoy a fun-filled spring celebration in the Stony Brook Village Center. Spring Appreciation Day will take place in and around the Village on Saturday, April 16, starting at noon.

Festivities begin with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, a Petting Zoo, kids crafts, live music with Burke & Brenda, WALK-FM and “Walkie Bear,” and Balloon Artist, “Thoroughly Modern Lilly.”  The Three Village School District “Spring into Art” K-12 Art Show starts at 11 am in WMHO’s Educational & Cultural Center. Admission to all of these events is free.

The Jazz Loft, a new 6,000 square-foot venue, will be hosting a one-day-only Sneak Preview on April 16 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Visitors can enjoy live jazz performances, wine and hors d’oeuvres, plus exhibits and collections containing thousands of items, some from the greatest band leaders of their day.
