Stony Brook Southampton has opened as one of the 10 additional COVID-19 mass vaccination sites run by New York State.
The vaccination site is located in the gymnasium, and is open from 8 am to 6:30 pm. Stony Brook Southampton is located at 70 Tuckahoe Road, directly across from the Southampton Long Island Rail Road station.
Eligible residents may schedule appointments by utilizing New York’s ‘Am I Eligible‘ website or by calling the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).
“We’re committed to quickly expanding the state’s vaccine distribution network to get shots in arms as quickly and efficiently as possible, and these three sites will help Long Islanders access the vaccine and gain some peace of mind as we continue battling the pandemic,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said on March 15.
Vaccination sites have also opened at SUNY Old Westbury and Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood. Other SUNY sites include Oneonta and Orange County Community College.
