This specific recognition, as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers, drew from the feedback and corresponding survey data of 70,000 U.S. employees across 25 industry sectors, including Stony Brook employees. Out of 101 organizations, Stony Brook ranked 63rd in New York State, and 12th in the Education-specific category.
Being named one of America’s Best-in-State Employers reinforces Stony Brook’s reputation as an institution that provides exemplary employment opportunities on Long Island and in New York State, and aligns with the multi-year HR Now Initiative currently underway at the university.
