Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith will sit down with M. Sanjayan, PhD, CEO of The New York Climate Exchange, in the next edition of Southampton Dialogues on Friday, August 28.
The event is free and open to the public, and will begin at 12 pm at Chancellors Hall at Stony Brook Southampton. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP online and submit questions for the Q&A session. A reception will immediately follow the talk.
The New York Climate Exchange is a first-of-its-kind climate solutions center on Governors Island anchored by Stony Brook University. Sanjayan is a globally recognized conservation scientist and former CEO of Conservation International, and is leading efforts to accelerate real-world climate solutions through research, education and innovation. He has also helped bring climate and nature stories to global audiences through award-winning documentaries and broadcasts with PBS and the BBC.
