The Stony Brook University football team is looking forward to a sea of red from Seawolves fans filling LaValle Stadium when it takes on William and Mary in its Homecoming game Saturday, October 26, at 3:30 pm.

The “Red Out” will highlight a day of celebration at Wolfstock, Stony Brook’s “Homecoming Festival for All.” The game will be preceded by the Stony Brook Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the Wolfstock Village BBQ in the LaValle Stadium parking lot.

Tickets for the game are on sale now. Fans who cannot make it in person can watch the game live on SNY, the first linear broadcast of a Stony Brook football game since 2019.

The Seawolves, 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the CAA, are ranked No. 24 in the AFCA Coaches Top-25 Poll, the first time they have earned a spot in the poll since 2019. They have earned votes in the AFCA poll for the last seven weeks and have received votes in the CBS Sports FCS Top-25 poll this season.

Stony Brook comes into the game off a record-breaking, 52-24 victory at Towson last weekend. Quarterback Tyler Knoop completed a school-record six touchdown passes and threw for a career-best 387 yards passing to lead an offense that racked up 512 total yards and seven touchdowns. Jasiah Williams had nine catches for 92 yards and three touchdowns, Jayce Freeman had five grabs for 91 yards and two scores, and Roland Dempster rushed for 103 yards.

The defense forced three turnovers and limited Towson to just 158 yards passing. Anthony Ferrelli led the way with seven tackles.

Stony Brook is 1-4 all-time against William and Mary (5-2, 2-1), and is seeking its first victory over the Tribe at LaValle Stadium. So get your red on and cheer on the Seawolves!
