Stony Brook University Interim President Michael Bernstein invited a group of local community leaders to campus recently for a meet and greet.
The informal event provided an opportunity for him to chat with each guest and learn more about the relationship between the campus and the community. In attendance at the breakfast, held on August 19, 2019 at the Charles B. Wang Center, were representatives from the area’s civic associations, chambers of commerce, public libraries, fire departments, education and historical organizations. The breakfast was hosted by Judy Greiman, Chief Deputy to the President and Senior Vice President for Government and Community Relations. A similar event for elected officials is planned for September.
