Human Resource Services has released a return to work Guide for Supervisors. The message reads as follows:
Yesterday, we shared with you a Coming Back Safe and Strong (CBSS) Update email outlining new COVID-19 protocols for fully vaccinated individuals, including no need to physically distance, wear a mask, test weekly or self-screen daily in non-health care settings.
Today, as promised, we are providing the opportunity for individuals to share their full vaccination status with us in order to be able to follow the new, more relaxed guidelines from the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER).
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated and/or choose not to make their vaccination status known will need to continue to follow existing guidelines, as outlined in the CBSS Update.
Submitting your full vaccination status is simple and completed directly on your personal SOLAR account. Click here for instructions.
Not Vaccinated Yet?
Vaccines are widely available. Find out more and schedule an appointment at a New York State-run vaccination site here. Appointments are available at our vaccination sites located in the Innovation & Discovery Building (IDC) in Stony Brook’s Research and Development (R&D) Park or at the Stony Brook Southampton campus. The sites are open from 8 am to 6 pm, seven days a week.
For those who have questions about vaccine site locations, missed appointments, appointment availability, vaccine eligibility, proof of vaccines and more, Stony Brook Medicine’s COVID Vaccine Hotline serves as a resource for you. Call (631) 638-1320 to reach the hotline Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
On behalf of the University, we want to thank you for your participation in efforts to support the well-being of our campus community. Be sure to also visit Stony Brook’s Coming Back Safe and Strong website for current updates and FAQs about all return-to-campus and Fall 2021 – and beyond – planning.
