Zilnicki farm

Zilnicki farmThe Faculty Student Association (FSA) is pleased to offer Stony Brook students, faculty and staff the opportunity to sign up for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm share program to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Zilnicki Farms is a small family farm located in Riverhead with a mission to reconnect communities back to mother nature.

Zilnicki Farm Fresh 2021 CSA offers local produce, milk, eggs, pasta sauce, honey, bread, horseradish and much more! Seawolves can support local farmers, eat healthier and feel confident in knowing where their food comes from.

“I believe a strong local food economy to be the backbone of our overall stability as a society.  It could not be more important than now for our food security and overall personal health to be at the forefront,” stated John Zilnicki, a fourth generation farmer. The Zilnicki family works tirelessly to provide a vast assortment of vegetables, herbs, potted flowers, cut flowers, and free range chickens.
