Explore Asian Art and Culture This Spring at the Wang Center

The Spring 2024 season at the Charles B. Wang Center offers a diverse lineup of programs that honor the rich tapestry of Asian art and culture.

Step into immersive experiences like the Cutting Through Culture: Chinese Paper Cutting Workshop and the Lunar New Year Celebration: Fluttering Butterflies performance in the Wang Theatre, both integral parts of the Lunar New Year festivities on February 11.

Experience everything from cinematic explorations of Japanese animation to lectures on the profound stories found within John W. Winkler’s Chinatown etchings exhibition, which is on display from March 20 through May 19. Be sure to take part in the annual Sakura Matsuri: Cherry Blossom Festival on April 21 and discover the timeless artistry of Persian geometric design in Ghazaleh Khayat’s workshop on April 26.
