CPO Hosts October Events for Domestic Violence Awareness

Take a stand

Domestic violence awarenessOctober is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Center for Prevention and Outreach (CPO) at Stony Brook University has put together a series of events to educate students about domestic and relationship violence and support for survivors.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month evolved from the “Day of Unity” observed by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in October 1981.
