Interim President Michael Bernstein has released a new message to the University community on extending spring break. The message reads as follows:
With a continued focus on mitigating the spread of COVID-19, and in final preparations for the transition to remote learning, Stony Brook University spring break, scheduled for Monday March 16 to Friday, March 20, will now be extended by one week until Friday, March 27, 2020. Classes will resume on March 30.
See President Bernstein’s previous message on remote instruction and other issues relating to the coronavirus situation.
Will we be extending the semester or cutting the semester to 14 weeks?
Thanks!
