Funnel

Strawberry Fest has been a tradition on the Stony Brook campus for over 20 years. Every spring, the campus community gathers on the Academic Mall  to enjoy a mouthwatering menu of strawberry treats and a fun-filled day of live music, dancing, and student performances.

This event is traditionally held on the first Wednesday of May during Campus Lifetime in conjunction with Diversity Day, a celebration of Stony Brook’s different heritages and lifestyles through music and dance performances, creative arts, lectures and cultural offerings. The event is planned and organized by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, in conjunction with student representatives from the campus’ cultural clubs and organizations.

For this year’s Strawberry Fest the Faculty Student Association and Campus Dining have partnered to feature delicious strawberry-inspired dishes such as thyme-roasted turkey taco with jalapeño-strawberry salsa and crowd favorites such as strawberry shortcake and made-from-scratch strawberry gelato. Purchase your ticket now from any Campus Dining cashier station. For more information, visit Campus Dining website.

The Annual Strawberry Fest/Diversity Day will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 12 pm to 2:30 pm on the SAC Plaza/Academic Mall. Rain locations: Student Activities Center Gelber Auditorium, with the Strawberry Festival held in SAC Ballrooms A and B.
