Blood Drive on Monday, Feb. 21 Seeks Donors

Blood drive sbu

Blood drive sbuThe Student Blood Drive Committee will be conducting its February blood drive on Monday, February 21, from 11 am to 8 pm in Student Activities Center Ballroom A.

Blood supplies are particularly low this time of year, and one pint of donated blood can save up to three lives.

To donate, you will need to bring some form of ID and a NY Blood Donor’s card. If you do not have a NY Blood Donor’s card and you wish to have one, you will be able to have one created at the event. All COVID guidelines will be followed, so please remember to wear a mask during this event.

The SBU Student Blood Drive Committee works with the New York Blood Center (NYBC) to facilitate the donation of blood that will save lives across the state of New York. The NYBC provides the medical equipment and personnel, and the committee helps set up the space and provides volunteers.

RSVP for the event at SB Engaged.
