Victoria Goldenberg ‘15  is currently working as a psychotherapist at Parientes of Suffolk on Long Island and Rothschild Mental Health Counseling in Brooklyn. She is also an adjunct professor of psychology at CUNY Queens College and Brooklyn College.

Edward Hernandez ’09 has been elected Chair of the new Social Work Department at Medgar Evers College.

 Evelyn Ortiz ‘07 was recently promoted from Director Government Affairs to Chief External Affairs Officer at Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a non-profit organization.

Ilvis Sonia Rodriguez ’92 is working full time supervising an investigation unit for the Suffolk County CPS. Ilvis has spent 14 years in an Abuse Team working with Special victims via Child Protection.

Harriette Rovner Ferguson ‘82  coauthored “Experiencing Infertility,” published by WWNorton and translated into Spanish. The book is a great resource for individuals and couples making their way to parenthood via fertility treatments and third party reproduction. Harriette also became a yoga tach in 2014 with a certification to teach mindfulness and meditation. She has formed a group practice called Transformations Counseling in Smithtown with fellow alumnus Ken Burns.

Selina Taranto’99 has been promoted to Senior Social Worker at Northwell.

Dawn Tesoro ’02 is recently certified as an international health coach.
