Students Explore Their Futures at Career Fair

Scores of students from across campus flocked to the Student Activities Center on September 4  to seek out job opportunities at the annual On Campus Job and Internship Fair.

Job Fair

Students explored openings on campus for student assistants, federal work-study students, internships, graduate assistants, and research opportunities. The in-person setting allowed students to speak with the hiring managers, learn more about their options, and practice their “elevator pitch.”

Organized by Stony Brook’s Career Center, the event had around 1,900 student attendees and 45 departments in attendance.

While résumés shifted hands and conversations took place, the fair became one of the busiest spots on campus, with large crowds of eager students filling out the Student Activities Center’s ballroom.
