SBU Undergrad Wins Title at National Pageant

Elizabeth BrennerElizabeth Jane Brenner, an English and Business major with minors in Political Science and Theatre, was named Miss Adult Talent Winner at the 2015 All-American Girl and Boy National Pageant and received awards for Best Personality, Best Message in a Commercial, Interview and Beauty.

Brenner is a member of the The Spirit of Stony Brook Marching Band, and she is on the executive board of Alpha Nu Zeta, the Stony Brook Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society. She is a graduate of the Suffolk County Community College Honors Program and is a Gold Girl Scout. Additionally, she has interned for Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Steve Israel.

Brenner also studies voice at Stony Brook. She once sang at Madison Square Garden, recorded music for the Long Island State Veterans Home and the Stony Brook Cancer Center, and sang the national anthem at a Long Island Lizards game and at the 2014 Walk for Beauty. Brenner also wrote a book of poetry.
