SBU Senior Anna Lubitz Interviewed on msnbc

Stony Brook University graduating senior Anna Lubitz was featured on msnbc.com as part of its new Women in Politics: College Edition series, which includes interviews with women leaders in student government from colleges and universities nationwide. Lubitz and the other students highlighted throughout the year then become part of msnbc’s Women of 2014, a discussion of women candidates and women’s issues on a national level.

Lubitz, former Undergraduate Student Government president, serves as student chair for the Provost-Student Advisory Group and is president of the Pre-Vet Society. She is also a SUNY Student Assembly Executive Committee representative. Lubitz co-founded the Elect Her: Stony Brook Women Win training initiative. The Setauket, New York, native is a biology major on the pre-dental track and a music minor with a concentration in vocal performance.
