SBU Graduate Students Visit China, Meet U.S. Ambassador

China trip 1

On June 3, Professor Frank Shih and Assistant Provost Richard Gatteau, instructors in the Higher Education Administration Program, were part of a Stony Brook University group that visited China. Shih organized and led the group of graduate students from the Higher Education Administration program who were completing a course focused on a comparative study between Chinese and U.S. institutions of higher education. In addition to visiting five of the top Chinese universities, the group also met with Gary Locke, the U.S. Ambassador to China, at his office at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.
