LIRR Clean Up Fall 2013

Lirr cleanup 2013 1

Making our community a brighter place is part of being a Seawolf, even when it means volunteering to be outside on a chilly fall morning. Recently a team of commuter students joined Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn and the Greening of 25A Committee for the annual fall cleaning of the Stony Brook Rail Road station on Saturday, October 26. More than a dozen students cleaned debris, raked leaves and put in new plants as part of the service project according to Emily Resnick, senior advisor for Commuter Student Services.
