Ohlmiller scored four goals and added eight assists for a team-record 12 points in a tournament game, surpassing Courtney Murphy’s nine points, set in 2018. Her eight assists tied the NCAA record for helpers in a game with Katie Rowan of Syracuse, who holds the NCAA tournament mark for points in a game with 13, set in 2008.

Ohlmiller now has 408 career points, second in Seawolves history behind her sister Kylie, who provided color commentary of Sunday’s win on ESPN3.

Stony Brook (16-2) is seeking its first-ever Final Four appearance, but will have to get past No. 1-ranked North Carolina on Saturday, May 22, at noon at Chapel Hill. Stony Brook lost to the Tar Heels, 14-7, on Feb. 14.

Kaeli Huff scored a career-best six goals against Rutgers, the second-most in an NCAA tournament game in SBU history. Ally Kennedy scored four times, Bridget Considine added five assists, and goalkeeper Kameron Halsall, a transfer from Rutgers, had seven saves.
