“The saloon doors swing open to reveal a motley cast of individuals, each with a tale to tell. In Cirque Éloize’s Saloon, the performers’ expert acrobatics are paired with live music, including classic songs from Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and Leadbelly. It’s a show that combines circus arts with music, dance, theatre and humor,” said Staller Center Director Alan Inkles.

Cirque Éloize has performed more than 5,000 performances in 550 cities and 50 countries. The troupe comes to Staller Center after a month’s run performing Saloon in Paris, France.

Tickets for the February 2 performance are $44 at or by calling the Staller Center box office at (631) 632-ARTS. Discounts are available for children, seniors and students. Tickets for children 12 years of age and younger are half price, with a suggested age of seven years old and up for the Cirque Éloize show. Running time for Saloon is 85 minutes without an intermission.

Staller Center has hosted Cirque Éloize in past seasons and is pleased to bring the acrobats back to Stony Brook. Positioned at the heart of the renewal of circus arts, Cirque Éloize has been creating moving performances since 1993.  With the multidisciplinary talents of its artists, Cirque Éloize has something for everyone.
