In his role as Assistant Dean for Multicultural Affairs, Dr. Watson has been active in advancing many initiatives outlined in the Stony Brook Plan for Equity, Inclusion and Diversity. He has been responsible for developing strategies to meet the needs of Stony Brook’s diverse student and professional populations, including the Diversity Leadership Development Initiative for historically underrepresented student affairs professionals.
