Class of 2018 Yields Record Breaking Senior Class Legacy Gift

As part of Stony Brook University’s 2018 Commencement on May 18, members of the graduating class presented University President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., MD with a check for $23,659.64, a gift to the University from the Senior Class Legacy Campaign. With over 900 donors, this represents the largest gift ever raised by Stony Brook’s senior class, topping the $20,413.80 raised last year by the Class of 2017.
