Apply by September 7 to Spend Winter Session in Cuba

This winter, head down to Cuba for eight days and study essay writing with Robert Reeves, acclaimed author and Associate Provost of the Southampton Graduate Arts Campus.

The program, which runs from January 2 to January 11, 2014, will include the graduate writing workshop, plus trips to Ernest Hemingway’s house Finca Vigia, Buena Vista Social Club and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Other experiences may include readings by Nancy Morejon, Cuba’s national poet, and Leonardo Padura Fuentes, winner of Cuba’s 2012 National Prize for Literature.

The program is open to graduate students and to undergraduate students, with permission. Students will live in the Hotel Plaza in Old Havana.
