Guneet Singh ’19 awarded New York Women in Communications Scholarship

Stony Brook University School of Journalism student Guneet Singh ’19 has been awarded the Ruth Whitney Scholarship from Glamour Magazine by New York Women In Communications in recognition of her academic achievements and commitment to the field of communications.

Singh is one of 20 scholarship recipients who will be presented with their awards at the New York Women in Communications’ annual Matrix Awards on April 23, 2018. The awards will be emceed by Savannah Guthrie, co-host of NBC’s Today Show. Singh’s scholarship also includes a week-long internship at Glamour Magazine.
