Kick off homecoming on Wednesday, October 6, with a party on the SAC Plaza from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, featuring a live band, carnival booths, our Spirit of Stony Brook Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Stony Brook Dance Team, and appearances by our Homecoming Court contestants. New this year is the Apple Market with a variety of apple treats from caramel apples to apple pie.
Catch the music of Big Shot, the high-energy Billy Joel tribute band on Saturday, October 9, at 12:30 during the Tailgate Party in Wolfstock Village. Big Shot features Mark Rivera, Joel’s saxophonist for 26 years. Enjoy a barbecue buffet while your children play in the Kids Zone.
Then head on over to LaValle Stadium at 3:30 pm and watch the Seawolves football team clash with Virginia Military Institute. Get your red on and cheer the Seawolves on to victory.
