TEDxSBUWomen on Campus May 28

Tedxwomen2015

TEDxWomen2015TEDWomen 2015: Momentum is a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change makers. It will take place in Monterey, California, May 27 through May 29, but hundreds of simultaneous TEDxWomen events will occur around the world as part of this movement. TEDxSBUWomen will be held in the Student Activities Center Auditorium and features local speakers as well as a live stream of the TEDWomen conference.

TEDxSBUWomen will celebrate the remarkable achievements of women at Stony Brook and in the community, but it is also a chance to observe some of the barriers that are preventing women from achieving their full potential. Speakers will demonstrate how small actions can cause a huge shift.

You can see the list of presenters for the TEDWomen conference here. See the Speakers page for the current confirmed speakers at the Stony Brook event.

Please RSVP here. The event is free, and it’s broken into sections so you can RSVP to the sections you are able to attend.
