On Wednesday, October 5, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Stony Brook is hosting the kickoff of the State University of New York’s Regional Campus Showcase Days in the Charles B. Wang Center. This is the first of 10 statewide regional events to celebrate the best of SUNY and its most innovative and exciting programs.
As SUNY enters the third year of its strategic plan, The Power of SUNY, Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher has asked each of the 64 SUNY campuses to present a half day of programming to the public that highlights their greatest ability to contribute innovative, best-in-class solutions that will help build a stronger economy and a better future for all New Yorkers.
The first showcase will feature programs and offerings from six SUNY colleges and universities in the Long Island region, including Stony Brook University, Farmingdale State College, Nassau Community College, Empire State College, Suffolk Community College and SUNY Old Westbury.
