Students Network at Annual RA Conference

Resident asistants from regional colleges and universities enjoy a lecture at Stony Brook’s 16th annual Resident Assistant Conference.

Stony Brook’s annual Resident Assistant Conference was held on October 18 and 19 with 225 resident assistants from 18 regional colleges and universities in attendance. Coordinated by Gina Vanacore, Associate Director of Residential Programs at Stony Brook, the annual event offers residential staff the opportunity to get to know one another and share their ideas and experience. The keynote speaker at this year’s conference was Dr. Patrick Love, Vice President for Student Affairs at NYIT. The conference provides learning and networking opportunities for resident assistants in the region through speakers, breakout sessions and roundtable discussions.
