Second Annual Walk of Hope a Success

Walk of Hope

The second annual Walk of Hope on Wednesday, September 18, gathered more than 700 participants who together encouraged students who are in need of help to reach out. The event raised awareness about depression and suicide, helped to further eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and connected students with on- and off-campus resources.

Stony Brook Southampton also participated, with more than 80 students, faculty and staff joining in a walk around the campus.
