School administrators from all over Long Island will attend Stony Brook University’s Science and Engineering Education Outreach Symposium on Tuesday, January 17. The event will take place in the Hilton Garden Inn on campus from 8 am to 10 am, with more than 50 Long Island school districts represented.
The symposium will include information about Stony Brook’s engineering and science outreach programs, with opportunities for students as well as for counselors and teachers. Following breakfast, Stony Brook University President Samuel L. Stanley Jr. and College of Engineering & Applied Sciences Dean Fotis Sotiropoulos will give opening remarks.
