SBU Offers Learn To Be Tobacco Free Program

Air-of-Respect logoRegister now for this free, six-week smoking cessation program led by a counselor/educator from the Suffolk County Department of Health. You will learn the skills needed to stay tobacco free, such as stress management and relaxation techniques as well as behavior modification. Smoking cessation medications will be provided for a nominal fee.

The program will be held on Monday evenings — November 9, 16, 23 and 30 and December 7 and 14 — from 6 pm to 7:15 pm at the Stony Brook Education Center, 14 Technology Drive, Suite 1, East Setauket.

Stony Brook University will become 100 percent tobacco free as of January 1, 2016. The time to quit is now.
