Girl power in stem

Girl Power in STEMGirl Power in STEM: Step It Up! is a symposium that celebrates the accomplishments of women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. It will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 9 am to 2 pm in the Engineering Building, Lecture Hall 145.

Girl Power in STEM: Step It Up! is being held in celebration of International Women’s Day, proclaimed as United Nations Day for women’s rights on March 8. This year the UN celebrates women’s achievements and calls for equal opportunities at all levels.

Registration is Free (Free on-site registration will also be available.)

This symposium is organized by Brookhaven Women in Science, Women in Science and Engineering and Graduate Women in Science and Engineering.
