Peking Man: International Research Conference and Symposium May 1-2

Led by paleoanthropologists Richard Leakey, from Stony Brook University’s Turkana Basin Institute, and Liu Wu, from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, leading scientists who study Peking Man and other Chinese hominids will meet and present new research that impacts our understanding of both human evolution in general and the central role of the Chinese fossil record.

The conference will be held May 1 through May 2 at the Charles B. Wang Center. It is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the Confucius Institute at (631) 632-5477.
