Music and Autism Event at Staller Center, April 23

Music and ASD 2017The fourth annual Music and Autism event will be held at the Staller Center Music Building on Sunday, April 23, from 2 pm to 3 pm.

The Concert Section will be geared toward those who would like to listen rather than participate in making music. Participants will enjoy selections of classical music and Disney songs performed by Stony Brook University musicians.

The Interactive Musical Section will be geared toward those who would like participate in making music with instruments. The instrument petting zoo team and music therapists will join participants to make music together.

Parents are required to join their children throughout the event. Feel free to pop in and out of different rooms.

This event is hosted and sponsored by the Social Competence and Treatment Lab, The Autism Awareness Club, Staller Center for the Arts, and The Department of Music at Stony Brook University.
