On Thursday evening, October 17, Stony Brook University is sponsoring a free Mental Health Comedy Tour that features standup comedy from professional comedians who suffer from serious mental health issues.
The Headliner Joe Materese of Comedy Central, The Late Show with David Letterman and America’s Got Talent fame. The host is Preston Gitlin from Sirius XM, Fox Business and Bloomberg.
You’ll also learn how these comedians have overcome their own struggles and challenges. Audience Q&A will follow.
The event will be held from 7 pm to 9:30 pm in the Tabler Arts Center, Black Box Theatre.
