Hundreds of students flooded the Academic Mall on September 13 for the fall semester’s second Involvement Fair, which gives undergraduates the opportunity to become familiar with student organizations on campus and to get involved.
“I think the Involvement Fair is always fun because it brings everyone out and makes the campus feel really lively. You see all of this activity and it’s really great,” said Gloriana Wilson ‘19.
There will be a third Involvement Fair on September 20, after weather complications dampened the semester’s first event. Students will have another chance to check out the clubs they may have missed, and clubs will get a second chance to recruit members.
“It’s very exciting to set up our booth and try to bring in new members,” said Justin Bettenhauser ‘20, a member of the Meteorology Club. “We’re a very accepting club, and we welocme students of all majors or years.”
