The Craft Center, located on the lower level of the Stony Brook Union, offers various arts and leisure programs that are open to the public for ages 16 and up. This fall, a number of classes are offered to bring out the artist in you.
Stick figures will be a thing of the past once you discover new techniques to make your drawing look realistic in “Drawing for Those Who Think They Can’t, But Would Like To.” No experience necessary. Class begins on September 22, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and runs for six Thursdays.
The ceramics program offers weekly classes and ongoing membership so you can practice on your own in addition to class time. Choose from “Pottery on the Wheel” or “Hand Building in Clay.” Register now for one of five classes beginning September 17.
