After spending the morning welcoming new students and helping them move in to their dorms, President Stanley visited the football team during their afternoon practice at LaValle Stadium and spoke to the team.
“You guys have been winners of two conference championships in the two seasons I’ve been here,” said President Stanley. “That’s amazing. That’s a record that’s just fantastic. I’m really proud of you. And you’ve done it both on the filed in great ways and off the field as well.”

Football season starts on Saturday, September 3, when the Seawolves take on UTEP in El Paso, Texas. The Seawolves first home game is Saturday, September 17, versus Brown. Kick off is at 6:00 pm.
