Yir cover 1

YIR coverThe Young Investigators Review (YIR) is a student-run science journal dedicated to promoting undergraduate research in the natural and applied sciences at Stony Brook. The journal, published once each semester, is wide in scope, including primary research articles, reviews, opinion essays, science news, interviews with faculty and students, and more.

Established in the spring of 2008, YIR has a staff of more than 30 undergraduates from diverse academic backgrounds. Through YIR, students can keep up to date with the latest in scientific research that is taking place both in and out of the University community. For those who have not yet identified a laboratory in which they can begin research, this publication serves to identify potential investigators who are in search of bright and motivated undergraduate students.

Biochemistry major Kevin Knockenhauer
