Credit affects so many areas of your life, but just what is a credit report anyway? How do I get my report for free? How do they figure out my score? How do I build or rebuild my credit? These questions will be answered and common myths will be dispelled in this fast-paced and informative session on Thursday, April 6, from 2 pm to 3:30 pm (registration begins at 1:30 pm) at the Small Business Development Center in the Research and Development Park.
Stony Brook alum Chris Dlugozima will present the workshop. He is an education specialist at GreenPath Financial Wellness with 16 years of experience empowering individuals in financial difficulty. Dlugozima educates people in New York and around the country on a variety of financial literacy topics. He has been featured on WABC TV and in The New York Daily News and The New York Times; he has appeared on NY 1’s Money Matters segment 12 times.
