
The College of Business and Center for Finance will be hosting Robert DeYoung, Capitol Federal Distinguished Professor in Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Kansas, as part of the Island Federal Credit Union Speaker Series. Professor DeYoung’s talk — “The External Effects of Bank Executive Pay: Systemic Risk and Liquidity Creation” — will be on Tuesday, November 10, at 1 pm in Harriman Hall, Room 304.
Professor DeYoung is a world-renowned scholar in commercial banking and regulation. He is a co-editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking; a senior research fellow at the FDIC’s Center for Financial Research; and director of the Center for Banking Excellence at the University of Kansas.
