The 2013 America East Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championships will both be held at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium this week, and the Seawolves will play a major role in both. The fourth-seeded men will take on top-seed Albany May 2 at 7 pm. Preceeding the Seawolves game is No. 2 seed Hartford against No. 3 seed UMBC at 4:30 pm. The two semifinal winners will meet May 4 at 10 am live on ESPNU.
Tickets to the men’s championship are on sale now through the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office. All-session passes are available until May 1 and are $18 for adults and $9 for youths ages 6 to 13. Individual game tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youths and $2 for students from America East member institutions.
The women, ranked in the top 10 nationally, are the top seed and will host No. 4 seed Vermont May 3 at 4:30 pm. No. 2 seed Albany will take on No. 3 seed New Hampshire at 7 pm. The two semifinal winners will face off May 5 at noon live on ESPN3.
Tickets to the women’s championship will be available on game days only. Tickets to each session (the semifinals are one session) are $8 for adults, $5 for youths 14 and under, $2 for groups of 10 or larger and $2 for students from America East member institutions.
