Center for Biotechnology Seeking Entrepreneurs

The Center for Biotechnology is launching a pilot BioEntrepreneur-in-Residence (B-EIR) program that will connect experienced bioentrepreneurs with commercially promising biomedical technologies emerging from Stony Brook University. The goal is to launch several new bioscience ventures in the Long Island region during the next three years.

The Center for Biotechnology is actively seeking seasoned entrepreneurs and those who are motivated by the opportunity to bring next-generation biomedical technologies to market as potential candidates for the B-EIR role. Multiple incentives have been put in place to help mitigate the risk of early-stage company formation for the appropriate candidate(s) including compensation as an independent contractor, development resources, staff support to assist in due diligence and strategic planning, and access to Incubator space.

Click here for the call for applications for the Bio-Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Feel free to contact the Center for Biotechnology with any questions you may have at (631) 632-8521.
