Campus Diversity Celebration, November 12

On Monday, November 12, the campus community is invited to come together and learn about the progress the University has made in implementing our Diversity Plan. This celebration will highlight successes and acknowledge the contributions of many individuals and offices on campus.

The event will be infused with student voices, cultural performances and a dynamic keynote lecture by NASA engineer and graphic artist Sabrina Thompson ’07, who earned a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook.

The Diversity Celebration will be held from 4 pm to 6:30 pm in the Student Activities Center, Sidney Gelber Auditorium. Please encourage your peers and colleagues to join you as we come together to celebrate and announce future initiatives to enhance equity and inclusiveness at Stony Brook University.
